A student of knowledge asks whether new learners should engage in dawʿah and guide others to scholars following the Prophetic ﷺ Sunnah. Shaykh Ṣāliḥ ibn Fawzān al-Fawzān affirms that they should call to Islam within their knowledge and connect people to trustworthy scholars.
It seems that this question is from the scholarship students – may Allah ﷻ grant them a long life and make them beneficial. We thank them for their attendance, earnestness, their efforts and participation in many lectures and events. He asks; is it upon the new student to give daw’ah in his country and to connect the people to callers who are upon the Prophetic ﷺ Sunnah?
Yes, he should do so. He should call to Islam in accordance to the level of his knowledge and convey it to them. Likewise, upon him is to direct the people to the scholars and callers who are upon the truth, in order that they may benefit from them and ask them questions.
