A man builds a house using a usurious transaction and then repents. Shaykh Muḥammad Nāṣir al-Dīn al-Albānī explains that sincere repentance is required, and if possible, the person should donate the house’s value in charity to the poor. If this is not feasible, no further action is required.
If a man built a house based on a usury transaction, then repents. What should he do with the house?
He doesn’t do anything other than repent to Allah ﷻ correctly. if it’s easy for him, let him spend the price [of the house] in charity on the poor, otherwise there isn’t anything upon him.
