Questioner:

We live in Britain with our terminally ill mother and doctors say that she is on the verge of death. The mother has requested that we transfer her body and bury her in Pakistan. Is it obligatory to obey her in this and is this considered an act of kindness towards the parents?

Shaykh Ṣāliḥ ibn Fawzān al-Fawzān:

If it is easy for you, then you should fulfil her will. But if it is burdensome for you then bury her with the Muslims in any location.
