If he refuted this individual, then I do not believe that Shaykh Rabīʿ would write against someone whom he doesn’t know.

So is the warning of Shaykh Rabīʿ ibn Hādī ʿUmayr al-Madkhalī taken?

I hope there isn’t a problem In shā’ Allāh. Bring me the statements because I don’t know the man [Yaḥyá al-Ḥajūrī] nor have I read his statements so that I may give my opinion based upon knowledge.
Questioner:
Our Shaykh, may Allah protect you. Shaykh Rabīʿ said that he advised him, and advised him and advised him. However [al-Ḥajūrī] didn’t want to return [from his mistakes] may Allah protect you. Meaning he [Shaykh Rabīʿ] brought evidence.
Shaykh Ṣāliḥ ibn Muḥammad al-Luhaydān
Look for another person [to study under] O’ brother, abandon him. Knowledge isn’t confined to one person.
Questioner:
Yes our Shaykh. The one who defends him, what is his case?
Shaykh Ṣāliḥ ibn Muḥammad al-Luhaydān
No, no do not defend him. Do not defend anyone except that you know he is sound from defect [innovations].
