The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Verily, Allah ﷻ loves three things for you and He hates three things for you. He loves that you worship Him alone and do not associate anything with Him in worship. He loves that you hold firmly, all together, to the rope of Allah ﷻ and that you do not divide. And He hates for you idle talk and hearsay (it was said and she said), excessive questioning that brings no benefit, and the wasting of wealth.”
This profound ḥadīth highlights essential foundations for individual and communal success in Islam. It calls believers to perfect their tawḥīd, preserve unity, and maintain sincerity in worship and relationships. The lecture by Abū Muʿādh Taqwīm reflects upon these three beloved qualities: worshipping Allah ﷻ alone, holding firmly to His religion, and remaining united upon the truth. It also warns against the three destructive traits that weaken faith and harm communities: spreading rumours, engaging in pointless debate, and wasting wealth.
Through practical examples and clear explanation, the reminder encourages Muslims to purify their intentions, guard their speech, use their resources wisely, and contribute positively to their families and communities.
This message serves as timeless guidance for building strong faith, healthy relationships, and a righteous society.
