Shaykh Ṣāliḥ ibn Fawzān al-Fawzān warns against causing fitnah, reminding believers that Allah ﷻ will distinguish between the patient and the strivers, and will filter the righteous from the corrupt. The Qurʾān emphasises that Allah does not reveal the unseen to people.
Do you think that you will be left alone, and Allah ﷻ has not yet made it distinct who the strivers among you are, and those who are patient? [Quran 3:142]
and
“Allah ﷻ will not leave the believers as you are until he filters out the rotten from the righteous. Allah ﷻ will not disclose the secrets of the unseen to you” [Quran 3:179]
