Question:

How about those graduates from the Islamic University of Madinah who speak ill of Shaykh Rabīʿ [ibn Hādī al-Madkhalī]?

Shaykh Muqbil bin Hādī al-Wādiʿī:

Those who speak about the virtuous Shaykh, Rabīʿ – may Allāh ﷻ reward him, for certainly he has stood in the faces of many innovators, [those that speak about him] must be hizbīs, followers of either the Ikhwān al-Muslīm, Surūrīyīn or other than them from the hizbis. They do not harm him. They do not harm except themselves.
