Shaykh Muhammad Bazmul states that anyone defending Abūl-Ḥasan al-Marʿibī is treated like a supporter of innovation. They are advised to return to the truth, and if they refuse, they are warned against, avoided, and their gatherings are not attended.
What is the correct position on the one who defends Abūl-Ḥasan [al-Marʿibī]?
The correct position towards the one who defends Abūl-Ḥasan is the same position towards the one who defends the people of innovation. We say; we advise this person who defends the people of innovation and campaigns on their behalf, so he returns [back to the truth]. If he doesn’t, then he is given their treatment. He is warned against, him and his sittings are stayed away from and people are warned against listening to him.
