Shaykh ʿUbayd al-Jābirī:

I call Allah, and those of you present and the nobles angels to witness, I call you all to witness that he [Shaykh Muḥammad bin Hādi] is an ʿAllāmah. By Allāh! He is an ʿAllāmah. He is also an expert in Islamic jurisprudence and a person of Sunnah. By Allāh we benefit from him even though he is considered from amongst my children in regards to his age. And his only “offence” is his refutation against those opposers [Ibrāhīm al-Ruhaylī etc] of which it is not permissible to remain silent about.
