This Privacy Policy explains how the Daar us Sunnah mobile application (“the App”) handles your information. The App is operated by Masjid Daar us Sunnah, a community-based Islamic centre located at 3 Warple Way, London W3 0RX, United Kingdom.

1. Information We Collect

The App does not collect, store, or process any personal information. You are not required to create an account, log in, or provide any personal details to use the App.

2. Notification Permissions

The App may request permission to send local notifications for prayer times. These notifications are scheduled entirely on your device and do not involve any data being sent to or stored on any server. You can enable or disable notifications at any time via your device Settings.

3. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with the following third-party services:

• YouTube Data API v3 (Google LLC) — The App makes direct API requests to YouTube to fetch and display videos from the Masjid Daar us Sunnah YouTube channel (@DaarusSunnah). Google may log these API requests in accordance with their own Privacy Policy. No video content is hosted within the App. Tapping a video opens YouTube in Safari.
• Google Maps — Used for directions to the masjid. Google’s Privacy Policy applies when you tap the directions link.
• Donation websites — The App links to dusmasjidappeal.com for charitable donations. This is an external website with its own privacy policy. No payments are processed within the App.

We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third-party services. We encourage you to review their respective privacy policies.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

The App does not collect or retain any personal data. There is no data to delete. Notification preferences are stored locally on your device only and can be cleared by uninstalling the App or disabling notifications in your device Settings.

5. Prayer Times and App Content

Prayer times, lesson schedules, and announcements displayed in the App are managed by Masjid Daar us Sunnah. This content is informational only and does not involve the collection of any user data.

6. Cookies and Tracking

The App itself does not use cookies or any tracking technologies. External websites opened via links within the App may use cookies subject to their own policies.

7. Children’s Privacy

The App is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect any information from children or any other users.

8. User Rights

As the App does not collect personal data, there is no personal information to access, correct, or delete. You may disable notifications at any time via iOS Settings > Notifications > Daar us Sunnah.
