Avoid Hizbi Gatherings

Shaykh Muqbil advises Muslims to avoid attending the lectures, gatherings, and mosques of hizbis and innovators. He encourages praying on the Sunnah, even with only a few people, and returning only when they follow correct Islamic teachings.

Shaykh Muqbil ibn Hādī al-Wādi’ī:

I advise with abstaining from attending the lectures, gatherings and mosques of the ḥizbīs and likewise their ‘eid prayer. Even if there are only two people present to pray with you, pray upon the Sunnah without hizbīs and innovators controlling you. Praise solely belongs to Allah ﷻ for the Sunnah has spread to many parts of Yemen. So I say to you;

۞ مُوتُوا بِغَيْظِكُمْ

Die in your rage!” (Q 3:119).

We will continue to stay away from your mosques and places of prayer until you return to the Sunnah, and until you act upon the ḥadīth of the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ; “The people should be led in prayer by the one who has most knowledge of the Book of Allah ﷻ; if they are equal in that, then by the one who has most knowledge of the Sunnah.”
