Shaykh Salih al-Fawzan says it is not permissible to hold lessons in mosques of innovators while abandoning the mosques of the people of Sunnah. Teaching in those mosques encourages innovation and gives them a false proof, while the sincere seekers will attend the mosques of the Sunnah.
A questioner from outside of the country asks; is it permissible for us to establish lectures and lessons in the mosques of the people of innovation whilst abandoning the mosques of the people of Sunnah?
No, establish them in the mosques of the people of Sunnah and whoever wants good will come to you in mosques of the people of Sunnah. Because if you were to establish them in the mosques of the people of innovation this encourages them (to continue upon their innovation), and they will use you as evidence since you come to them. They will use you as evidence for the permissibility of their innovation.
