Shaykh Salih al-Fawzan explains that books of the people of Sunnah are available, and one must search for them. Relying on innovators or their books is forbidden, as they are like deadly poison, so do not depend on them for knowledge.
Is it permissible to take knowledge from the people of innovation or to read their books due to the lack of books of the people of Sunnah in my country?
All praise is due to Allah ﷻ, the people of Sunnah are present and their books are available but it is required from you to seek them (the books) and to be devoted, do not rely upon the people of innovation and the books of the innovators, do not depend upon them for they are like deadly poisonous food.
