Shaykh ʿUbayd al-Jābirī declares Shaykh Muḥammad ibn Hādī as an ʿAllāmah and a strong scholar in fiqh and Sunnah. He praises his knowledge despite his young age and explains that his only “offence” is speaking out against deviators, which is necessary and justified.
I call Allah ﷻ, and those of you present and the nobles angels to witness, I call you all to witness that he [Shaykh Muḥammad bin Hādi] is an ʿAllāmah. By Allāh! ﷻ He is an ʿAllāmah. He is also an expert in Islamic jurisprudence and a person of Sunnah. By Allāh ﷻ we benefit from him even though he is considered from amongst my children in regards to his age. And his only “offence” is his refutation against those opposers [Ibrāhīm al-Ruhaylī etc] of which it is not permissible to remain silent about.
