Marriage
Shaykh al-ʿUthaymīn explains that the best enjoyment of this worldly life is a righteous wife. A good woman protects her husband’s honor, wealth, and children, and organizes the home. Seek a religious spouse, as she brings true lasting happiness and success.
Seeking and Teaching Knowledge
Shaykh Muhammad al-Wasabi explains that leaving a wife in labour is permissible only if she is properly cared for and provided for financially. If no one is left to support her, then the husband is sinful and must repent.
Tawḥīd
Shaykh al-Uthaymīn explains that enjoining good and forbidding evil is a compulsory duty. If the Ummah neglects it, Allah’s ﷻ punishment may descend and supplications may go unanswered. True reform requires sincere intention, not revenge or arrogance, to guide others toward Allah ﷻ.
