Shaykh Salih al-Fawzan clarifies that scholars have not declared buying American products forbidden. Boycotting is not obligatory unless ordered by the Muslim ruler. Individuals cannot declare such products prohibited, as this would be forbidding what Allah has permitted.

Shaykh Zayd al-Madkhali explains that a specific commendation is not required to teach or translate Islamic knowledge. If a person understands and conveys correctly, he is rewarded. However, if he teaches incorrectly, he should be advised, and his mistakes should not be accepted.
